Rewriting transcript using our Chunk Editor™

Sometimes you want to really focus on a section of a transcript, or you have a sentence or two that requires a lot of corrections. By highlighting text and selecting our Chunk Editor, your player will repeat over your audio content and allow you to transcribe as accurately as possible. 

One thing to keep in mind is the system can have trouble assigning new words to the correct time codes. All we know is the new content exists between the previous word and the next word in the transcript. While it is always better to correct a word in the editor than replace large chunks of words to maintain timecodes, the Chunk Editor can help by evenly distributing the text across a time span.
