Adjust upload setting to increase speed or push large files
Konch helps you upload large files faster by splitting them into smaller segments and uploading them in parallel. This can significantly increase the upload speed, up to 4 times faster when your bandwidth is utilized to the fullest. However, under heavy load, this concurrency can overwhelm your machine or network, causing timeouts and upload failures. To prevent this, you can adjust the Multipart Uploads setting in your Konch account by visiting https://app.konch.ai/settings.
There, you can choose the level of concurrency you prefer. A setting of "1" results in a slower upload (1 chunk at a time serially), but more reliable to complete for large files. "4" means you are uploading 4 chunks of uploads at the same time, which could lead to your network clogging up and timing out. By adjusting this setting, you can optimize your file uploads and ensure successful transfers even in challenging network conditions.
