Understanding time codes and sections

It is important to remember that Konch is not an ordinary editor. It's unique in how it maintains time-coded information to align words to the originating audio transcribed. Therefore, you may notice, we try to keep words together whenever possible so that the time codes are not accidentally altered. You may notice that you can not create empty sections. This is because each section must contain a series of time coded content. You will also notice, when creating new sections, we pull an entire word down and do not separate a word into more than one part no matter where you press enter. If you wish to override this, you can add a space in your word, and then create a new section.
